Pawsome is a small grooming shop on Maginhawa run by people who would rather take an extra half hour than force a frightened dog through a groom. We work one pet at a time in the grooming room, with no cage dryers, ever. First-time nervous dogs get a short meet-and-greet before anything happens, and we will stop and reschedule if a pet is genuinely distressed rather than push through. We groom cats too, though we ask for a phone call first so we can plan the visit properly. Please tell us about skin conditions, hot spots, recent surgery or any history of biting when you book. It is not a judgement — it changes how we handle the groom and what shampoo we use.
